Harvest Vision Africa History

Harvest Vision Africa began in November 2005, during George and Linda’s trip to Kampala, Uganda. They visited Martin and Beatrice for one month. During this time they had the vision to begin Harvest Vision Africa. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, and seeing the need for the ministry, Martin traveled and ministered in Uganda and Western Kenya. Seeing the need in the Body of Christ in the Great Lakes Region, we were led to establish an outer court and resource center to help the Body in general to fulfill the Great Commission. A few months later, the Lord blessed us with a place for this mission center, which is also where Martin’s family resides.

Through Martin’s connections in Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and the D.R. Congo, we visited these nations and were able to get in touch with men and women of God through Eliud and Deborah Abijah, Joseph and Anne in Rwanda, Evariste and Adele in Burundi, and Isaac and Jose in D.R.Congo.

From trips to these countries, what began in Kampala as a simple resource center began to bless these nations as well. Thus, we currently have a simple sound system to support ministry outreaches in these countries.

Harvest Vision Africa has continually and steadily grown to bless many, especially people who have come to the office in Kampala. Through the help of our office manager, David Idoru, HVA has been registered with the National Fellowship of Born Again Churches of Uganda and MEPI (Makindye East Pastor’s Initiative).
